We Sign Up But Rarely Sign In!
By: Jackie Warner
Commitments, Accountability, Responsibility, Your Word…
Tasks and responsibilities, tasks and responsibilities, and more tasks and responsibilities.
Yes, we sign up and definitely in most cases plan to sign in. I am guilty as well. With best intentions, we say yes but then as we get close to the responsibility, we soon figure out that we either don’t truly want to commit or we just can’t keep the commitment. When we soon get overwhelmed with what life brings us, we must pause and think about what we should be committed to in this life. Stop making excuses and take full responsibility for our commitments in our lives. Give your all even when you feel it gets too tough. Reevaluate how you stay committed and seek guidance to fulfill your goals.
“Give your word less often. If something is a “maybe” for you, say so, being clear that you are choosing to withhold your commitment until a later time when you have truly given real consideration to what you will be saying yes to. Ask questions and get the full details.
If you say yes….
Go all in. Be real and stay the course. Stay on the journey to get to the final results.
Accept responsibility, roll up your sleeves and go to work.
Be honest and transparent to promote a healthy, trusting relationship.
Know good times and bad are a part of the course.
Don’t sign up and not stay signed in…
Until Next Time, Be Sincere, Kind and Intentional
