Make Sure You Have The Truth!

Mark 3: 25-26 25And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. 26And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but is coming to an end.
1 John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not live out the truth.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
The Whole Armor Of God
Romans 13:12 The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore, let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
When we read about the armor of God, it’s an opportunity to provide encouragement to believers with means to stop feeling helpless in the midst of our adversaries and to be fully present and equipped to contend with them. Let us make no mistake, it is not with our own power, but God’s power working through us. It is God who arms me with strength. (Psalm 18:32)
Ephesians 6:10-18 (NIV) 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in HIS mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
1. Take a stand against what is not right. Stand your ground and continue to stand firm.
2. We have to seek and obey the real and whole truth. And Jesus said God’s Word is true (John 17:17).
3. Remove fear and worry, or we lose our peace. The gospel of peace keeps our feet fixed, standing firm. The enemy wants to destroy us, but we have the greatest weapon – our faith.
4. Keep your eyes focused on God. Satan does not surrender without a fight. He comes seeking to defeat.
5. The Bible tells us, “Your adversary the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion…” We must pray without ceasing and stand for what is right!
