Since my last article, I have gotten the test results back and nothing showed to be unusual. My antibodies were slightly elevated, but otherwise everything turned out all right. While this is all good news, this still doesn’t offer an answer to my grocery list of symptoms. The next step is going to be to see a cardiologist. At this point, we are just ruling out what it not is instead of what it actually is.
The rollercoaster of ups and downs can be overwhelming, unless you take a second, step back, and see how good you actually have it. No matter your circumstances, there is always a positive. We tend to dwell on the negative in life. Imagine if we focused on the positive. Your entire outlook would be changed.
Even focusing on your weight can be a source of sadness and another avenue to make you feel like you have nothing good in your life. Remember that your current weight is someone else’s goal weight. Be kind to yourself! Someone else is looking at you and wishing they could have your life.
The recipe this week is perfect for summer. It is an old recipe that I found in one of my grandmother’s old cookbooks. It is called Farmer’s Salad. It is creamy, cool and delicious. It makes the perfect light lunch or supper for these hot summer days that are right around the corner.
