After high school football teams have been left in limbo concerning the start of their seasons due to the coronavirus situation, Alabama state superintendent Eric Mackey confirmed that sports will take place in the fall. In a joint press conference with state health officer Dr. Scott Harris, Mackey said extracurricular activities will happen, although they will look different as protocols are still being worked out.
