We at KALB could not have been more pleased with the beautiful, wonderful day everyone had on Saturday, April 26th!
KALB’s 5th Annual Earth Day & Outdoor Expo brought nearly 50 exhibitors, excellent speakers, over 40 door prizes, games, fun, contests, music, bats, snakes, owls, in addition free hot dogs, chips, and Pepsi and so much more!
The goal of our event was to sneak education into a wonderful family day at the park. We estimate about 1,200 people came through. Many had their Education Station Passports stamped at the special exhibitor locations to receive free ice cream. Hundreds answered environmental questions to earn free door prize tickets.
Sneaky, aren’t we?
If each of our guests left with just one more piece of knowledge than they had when they arrived, then we deem this a huge success!
