Almost every disease known to man is associated with inflammation. As a matter of fact, your immune response causes inflammation, which means in some cases inflammation can be healthful. However, when you have too much inflammation, it can do a lot of harm to your body and speed up the aging process.
Chronic inflammatory conditions — fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, diabetes, arthritis, sinus infections, allergies, cancer, heart disease, gout, and especially the autoimmune disorders, such as lupus, Crohn’s, rheumatoid arthritis, and the rest — all cause inflammation in the human body.
When your body is full of inflammation, you are most likely in pain. However, in some cases such as high blood pressure caused by inflammation, you may not have any physical signs at all. For that reason, we suggest when you have your blood work done, request that they do a CRP profile. This will indicate how much inflammation you have in your body. CRP stands for C-reactive protein, which increases as inflammation goes up.
The normal range for C-reactive protein, or CRP, is less than 1.0 milligram per deciliter or less than 10 milligrams per liter, reports WebMD. The CRP blood test measures the amount of C-reactive protein in the blood. When your levels are higher, you may choose to begin taking some all-natural anti-inflammatory supplements with turmeric or curcumin, boswellia, ginger, green tea, white willow bark, and/or bromelain.
Some really nice “superfoods” such as Noni, Resveratrol, Aloe, and Mangosteen have also proven to support normal CRP levels in the body. These superfoods also have a wide range of other health benefits because they provide anti-oxidant, anti-carcinogenic, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal factors.
Many doctors agree that everyone who wishes to live to their genetic potential without disease must do everything they can to maintain low inflammation levels. By keeping inflammation in check you will also improve the quality of your life even if you have already developed one or more disorders.
The last thing I will cover about lowering CRP levels is that high inflammation in your body can also speed up the aging process. Stress, chemicals, smoking, diabetes, heart disease, and even cancers will raise cortisol levels, which is the stress hormone. The same supplements I listed in this letter may also reduce cortisol levels, which all by itself can improve your quality of life.
It is my belief that every American should be taking some or even all the ingredients that I talked about. To learn more, go to NEWtritionalhc.com.
